Ceri Wheeldon - Fab After Fifty
The DVD is divided into six 10 minute segments, so you can choose which part of the body you want to focus on. My main problem areas are my upper arms and tummy, so I decided to start with those. Of course you can workout to all six for a full body workout – for me it is always a question of time, but psychologically I find it easier to fit in 2 sessions of 10 minutes in a day than one of 20!
The exercises are extremely straightforward , and appear to be a mix of yoga and pilates.
Danielle’s voice is incredibly soothing as she explains each movement – with advanced poses presented as an option for those who are perhaps more used to exercising than me – I just stuck with the basic poses and movements.
As someone who spends far too much time sitting at a desk looking at a computer screen, the fact that the exercises are split into 10 minute segments makes it ideal for me to fit in throughout the day. I am aiming to do one segment at around midday, one mid afternoon and on a good day , another early evening. For me it is early days – less than a week – I’ll let you know how I get on – but I can certainly feel my tummy muscles being put through their paces – but in a gentle way. I will let you know when I am able to SEE an actual difference.
I think this DVD would appeal to Callanetics devotees – although personally I find these exercises from Danielle easier to do – and understand!
For those who don’t like to buy commercial skincare ranges – there is also a bonus natural skincare section which shows you how create your own ant-ageing scrubs etc at home."
