Adele Offland - Teacher of the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method
What has been your experience of Face Yoga prior to starting the training?
Although I have been a yoga teacher for over a decade, I had no experience of Face Yoga prior to starting the training but have always been interested in Acupressure, Massage and natural health. I decided to embark on the course as I believe The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method is a wonderful complement to Hatha Yoga.
What was your overall opinion of the training?
I decided on the distance learning course as it meant that I could work at my own pace, fitting it in with my Yoga Studio and family. I am really glad that I chose this method, as it meant that I could spend a month practicing on myself and when I began to really see results, I was really inspired to work through the very professional and comprehensive course material. The You Tube videos were a wonderful addition to the course, as were the very detailed, yet easy to understand pictures and descriptions of the anatomy and physiology of the face and neck.
Do you plan on using your training with clients. If so, how?
I certainly do plan on using my training in order to encourage ladies to take a wonderfully natural approach to looking and feeling beautiful!
At my yoga studio, I will be running Face Yoga Workshops and may even slip a few little tips into my regular yoga classes.
What was the most important thing you learned from the training?
The most important thing I learned from the training had to be that looking after your complexion, face and neck means more than just slapping on a wonderfully expensive face cream! Just a little bit of face TLC goes a long, long way and costs NOTHING!
What was your favourite thing about the training?
I loved the fact that while I was actually training, I was actually treating myself! Most training courses require a dedication and workload that can add to stress levels – this course was so stress-free and enjoyable and actually made me look and feel better about myself!
What score out of 10 would you give the training?
