BLOG 326: MY SISTER SAID THIS 1 WORD TO ME AND 10 YEARS ON IT'S STILL SO SPECIAL TO ME

It was 11 years ago and I was sat crossed legged on her family room floor. I remember it so well. The cream carpet, the beige curtains, the warm cup of herbal tea. Lucia was only around two years old and I hadn’t yet had Lilia. We were staying with her for a couple of days and I had recently created the first product in my skincare line, so I was telling her all about it. 

“I need a name for my skincare line” I said.

“It’s natural, organic, made from nature. It’s so perfect for Face Yoga. It’s about moments of self care and holistic wellness. It’s a fusion of all those things”.

“Um I think you have your name” she said. 

“What?” I answered

“Fusion” she said. 

And there it was, the perfect name to describe the ‘bringing together’ of plant based skincare, daily Face yoga and wellbeing.

And 10 years on, and with the success of the award-winning and best-selling Fusion by Danielle Collins Pro Lift Moisturising Serum and the Pro Renewal Mask, which have been loved by people all around the globe for 10 years, I’m thrilled to expand the collection with three brand-new products: a gentle cleanser, a refreshing toner, and a natural exfoliator. 

So let me tell you a little more about this skincare line. The Fusion by Danielle Collins range brings together organic, natural skincare with the transformative power of Face Yoga and holistic wellness.

The idea was born over a decade ago when I knew I wanted to create products that were as natural and effective as the results my community was already seeing from Face Yoga. I wanted skincare that was kind to both the skin and the planet, made with plant-based goodness that nourishes not just the skin, but also the mind and body. I wanted every Face Yoga moment to feel elevated by luxurious, high-quality products that deliver a radiant glow and are rooted in the power of nature.

The word “Fusion” means bringing two or more elements together to form a single harmonious whole. Derived from the Latin word 'fundere', meaning “to melt,” it reflects the very heart of this range, the blending of nature, science, beauty, and well-being.

Each product is lovingly handmade in small batches in rural Lincolnshire, England, in partnership with a multi-award-winning formulator. The elegant labels are inspired by the soft tones of the Georgian stone buildings in my hometown of Bath, UK.
