"As a result of many years of teeth-grinding, my jaw became slightly unaligned. After week 1 of the 7-Day Face Yoga course, I accidentally bit the inside of my mouth/tongue whilst eating, gnashing my teeth on one side, and my flute playing was just rubbish. By week two of the course, the penny dropped: my jaw had moved very slightly, owing to the strengthening of muscles.  When I opened and closed my mouth, my jaw no longer veered to one side but was almost straight up and down! By week three, my jowl had gone. I always spend time working on my shoulders and neck area because that is where flautists get repetitive strain injuries. However, I've always done this, and it has never moved my jaw.  Louise, it still seems a bit crazy after such a short time, but I am convinced that face yoga has moved my jaw and put it back almost to where it should have been all these years.
